Preserving every precious moment.
Every voice. Every story. Forever.
MemoryKeeps is a nonprofit platform for preserving the life stories of elders — in their own voices, with their own photographs, on their own time.
We believe memory is the most precious thing we leave behind. Others sell the printing; we give the printing as a gift. The real work — and the real gift — is the listening.
Operated under FMedu, a federally registered nonprofit since 2017, our platform hosts stories from seniors served by partner organizations across communities. Free for every senior. Private by default. Preserved for generations.
"I lived through three wars, two countries, and one very long love. If nobody writes it down, it's as if none of it happened."
"My mother baked bread every Thursday for sixty years. I still smell it sometimes, when I'm alone in the kitchen."
"The boat was small and the ocean was very big. I held my sister's hand the whole way. She never let go."
